This page is maintained by the Honest Market Maker team to explain what data the app collects and how it's handled. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Email address. Used only to send you magic sign-in links and, occasionally, service notices.
Workspace and pair configuration. The trading rules you configure — capital limits, spreads, inventory caps — so the bot can run.
Encrypted Bitmart API credentials. Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and only decrypted server-side at trade time.
Trade and tick logs. The orders the bot placed on your behalf, so you can audit its behavior.

What we don't collect

No cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
No behavioral analytics beyond basic error reporting.
No custody of your funds — ever.

Who can see your data

Only members you invite to a workspace can see that workspace's configuration and trade history. Access is enforced with row-level security in the database. Operators of HMM may see aggregate service health and per-workspace error logs to keep the service running.

Sub-processors

Supabase / Lovable Cloud — application database and authentication.
Bitmart — the exchange the bot trades on, using keys you provide.
Telegram — only if you enable Telegram alerts on a pair.

Retention and deletion

You can delete a workspace, its API keys, and its trade history from the dashboard at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and all workspaces you own.
